As part of a two-week intensive design studio charrette,
we were each asked to make a brand for something without one,
reimagine an existing brand, or deconstruct an existing brand.
I chose the second, and picked the Raleigh Greek Fest from our list of options.
After conducting on-site research at the festival and studying its roots, I then
ideated and finalized a brand solution that addressed the strengths
and weaknesses of the Festival’s brand.
Part of our challenge was also to propose branded solutions to enhance
the brand- I developed an expandable recipe book that the Festival could
use to share with guests, and designed a new layout proposal for the convention
center that would make engagement easier.
This project was featured in the College of Design’s Day with the Dean selection!
